Britta has started volunteering at the Invertebrate/BUGS House at London Zoo!!
Every other Saturday, she’s up at the crack of dawn and off down the zoo to look after the insects. Luckily, insect poo isn’t very heavy 🙂

I have been very busy with Summer and work and all that. Had a couple ofweekend Warblefly rehearsals, one at Pete's place in Norfolk and another last weekend in Falmouth near Dave H's place. The drive to Cornwall was a bit of a mission as EVERYONE wanted to be in Cornwall it seemed and there was roadworks etc.. Which reminds me, I now have another car! A Citreon Xantia 1.6. Cost a whole 500 pounds. Bought it from Pete my old colleague who decided to move to the USA. What else has been going on?
Went quite well really. 45 minutes at Silwood Festival. Pics of rehearsal in the Gallery…
Well I have updated the Gallery and now there are 3 new sets of pics. And, I’ve moved flat so now Britta and I are living in sin. Oooh er. And also, I got promoted to Technical Team Manager and I get to go on silly management courses and things. More stress but more money 🙂
So have a look at the photos and I’ll have a look for some more to put up.
In other news, I am hopefully going to be the drummer in my friend Dave’s band called Warblefly…
Haven’t actually made it to a rehearsal yet but it should be good!
Well, it’s been a while but I am still here. Brilliant trip to NZ and loads of photos to put up but it appears that I’ve broken something as I can’t upload the photos properly. WIll have to fix that at some point.
Also, I’m moving house in a few weeks just to add to the confusion…
I fly out at 9.45 this evening so hopefully I’ll be able to put a few photos and things up here. But don’t hold your breath!!
Sold Britta’s drum kit and now I have loads more room in my cupboard.
Hurrah!
I have been faffing about and managed to update the software that runs this website. SIte was moved from Mambo 4.5.1 to Joomla 1.0.5. Didn’t go too badly considering. I’d moved this site to the main shared server at my work a while ago. It’s now running on apache2 (2.0.54), php5 (5.1.1) with MySQL 4.1 (4.1.11)
After a particularly messy and disgusting episode this evening involving mayonnaise and mango pickle, I have decided to ditch the beard that I had been cultivating, on and off, for the last few months…

If you look closely you may see some stray mayonnaise under my nose 🙂 |

Happy New Year to everyone. I hopefully will keep this more up to date but somehow I doubt it :-(. Thank God Christmas and New Year is out of the way. Been up to a few things since my last post
So, I’ve been working. And eating and sleeping. Hmm what else. DJed at a party. Oh! Went to cuzi Ian’s Stag weekend! That was cool. Lots of loud music. Must get around to doing a mix of all the cool tunes I played.
Had the office Christmas party on Thursday 22nd. A good night was had by all. We got iPod Nano’s for Christmas 🙂
Went to Jim and George’s place in Islip (near Oxford) for Christmas with Britta, Jim’s mum Penny and sister Kate. Went to the pub, for a walk (photos coming) and had a yum dinner. Hooray! Lots of loafing about. Also stayed at David and Barbara’s in Cambridge and caught up with my cousins.
New Year’s was at Anna’s place in Windsor. Roast dinner and watching the telly mostly. Cuppa tea at midnight.
Back to work today. Off to New Zealand in a couple of weeks…
